Tampa Bay is one of the surprise teams in the NFL this season. In the first year of the post-Tom Brady era, the Buccaneers opted for a veteran journeyman at quarterback and the results spoke for themselves. Baker Mayfield had a career-year, setting personal bests in passing yardage (4,044), touchdowns (28), and completion rate (64.3). His connections with wideouts Mike Evans and Chris Godwin have been strong throughout the season, allowing the Buccaneers to get the most out of its offense. The defense has a bend but don't break approach as it allowed the 10th-most yards per game in the league but tied for the sixth-fewest points allowed.
These two teams squared off on Monday Night Football in Week 3 with the Eagles winning 25-11 in Tampa Bay. The Eagles held the Bucs to 41 total rushing yards and A.J. Brown chipped in 131 receiving yards for Philadelphia. On the injury front, the Buccaneers' starting personnel is mostly healthy. It's tougher on the Philadelphia side as A.J. Brown (knee) will not play and leading tackler, Reed Blankenship (groin), is questionable to play. Tampa Bay was 11-6 ATS this season but just 3-5 against the spread at home while Philadelphia notched a 7-8-2 ATS mark that included a 4-4-1 mark on the road.
